Communicating with Instructor<\/em>. Instructor will attempt to respond to e-mails within 24 hours, except during weekends. In that case, instructor will provide a phone number.<\/p>\n This course provides basic legal knowledge for Internet related legal issues with a focus on practical information for use by computer professionals.<\/p>\n The course is an eight week course, with 11 units. Each unit has reading material(s) and\/or multimedia. Also, each unit will have assignments to complete. There will be bi-weekly lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 6:00 P.M. \u2013 8:00 P.M. at\u00a0UMass\u00a0Center \u2013 Springfield.<\/p>\n All deadlines will be posted in Blackboard.<\/p>\n There are 8 categories that will be graded:<\/p>\n An Assignment submitted after the due date is listed as \u201clate.\u201d Assignments are listed as \u201clate\u201d until the cut-off-date. An Assignment cannot be submitted after the cut-off date.
